High Water Levels

Currently there are very high water levels affecting many clubs in Ontario.  This has caused a lot of docks to be covered with water.  Due to the potential hazards caused by this condition, many member clubs are unable to accommodate visiting boats at this time.  They are asking that you reach out to your membership and let your members know.

Below is a current list of member clubs that have reached out with the status of their facilities.

 

CLOSED TO VISITORS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Aquatic Park Sailing Club – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice.

Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice.

Bay of Quinte Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Bluffer’s Park Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Boulevard Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Bronte Harbour Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Dalhousie Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Etobicoke Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Genesee Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Harbour City Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Highland Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Island Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Oakville Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Oakville Power Boat Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Oakville Yacht Squadron – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice.

Queen City Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Royal Canadian Yacht Club – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice.

Royal Hamilton Yacht Club – closed to visitors until floating docks are completed. No power or water.

Scarborough Bluffs Sailing Club – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice … have floating docks but no services available.

Toronto Sailing & Canoe Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

Tuscarora Yacht Club – closed to visitors (except in an emergency) until further notice.

Wilson Yacht Club – closed to visitors until further notice.

 

OPEN TO VISITORS

Fairport Yacht Club – open for visitors with full facilities.

Fifty Point Yacht Club – floating docks are available but wall moorings cannot be used. Pumpout services not available. Limited space for visitors … call marina at 905-643-2103 to check availability. Reciprocal slips can be reserved.

Frenchman’s Bay Yacht Club – have floating docks so none are under water – no shore power on docks at this time.

Lakeshore Yacht Club – have floating docks and power to them.

National Yacht Club – have floating docks so none are under water – extreme caution is advised when accessing NYC due to the breakwalls being awash … visitors are advised to avoid the club when strong southwest winds are forecast due to their exposed position.

Olcott Yacht Club

Port Credit Yacht Club – have floating docks so none are under water.

Whitby Yacht Club – have floating docks with no power, parking lot periodically floods.

Youngstown Yacht Club – guest moorings are available (no docks), club facilities may be accessed by hailing the launch at CH 68 for rides to/from the club.
