Since 1934 our members have contributed their time and talents to the construction and maintenance of our facilities, the organization of our race programs, cruising program, social events, and every other aspect of the club. Nothing happens without it!
GYC is happy to extend privileges to sailors from reciprocal clubs and their boats for up to 4 free nights, depending on available space. Additional nights may be possible with Vice Commodore approval.
Our club offers rebuilt docks with electric and water pedestals, a fully equipped kitchen, free high-speed Wi-Fi, showers, grills, as well as a porch for socializing and outdoor dining. Block and cube Ice is available for a fee. Fuel and pump out facilities are located nearby. A grocery store, laundromat, liquor store as well as dining options are within walking distance. You can locate Genesee Yacht Club at Lat. 43.250011 Long. -77.609472. We monitor VHF Channel 16 and 71. We attempt to have an Officer of the Day on duty weekdays from June thru August. On weekends or if there is no officer of the day, there are usually members on site who are happy to welcome you to our club and show you around.
Docks are on a first come first served basis, we do not take reservations. Please call our club via VHF or at 585-266-9796 when approaching the Genesee River or make a temporary tie-up in our service slip near the green travel-lift and speak to any member on the property.
