WHAT: A flotilla sailing to Montreal consisting of yachts from around Lake Ontario
WHEN: July 7 to July 21, 14 days
WHERE: Departing Sodus Bay Yacht Club

SBYC in cooperation with Lake Ontario Cruising Club Association (LOCCA) is organizing an Interclub Cruise to Montreal.

The rally will depart on Sunday, July 7th or the nearest following weather window and rendezvous from time-to-time along the route at convenient yacht clubs. The flotilla will gather and transit the seven lock-system as a group. Arrangements will be made in advance with the appropriate Canadian and USA seaway authorities to expedite our transit. Radio contact among the fleet will be maintained throughout the rally.

The rally will include skippers with seaway transit and ocean passage experience. Organizational details have been assembled by a volunteer group of participating skippers, their member clubs and others. The SBYC website will serve as the rally’s coordinating hub. A draft sail plan has been posted on the SBYC website and at participating yacht clubs. Yachtsmen interested in  anticipating should contact Jack Huttner at boating.sodusbayyc@gmail.com.
